| Ever since John P. Wood took his first martial arts class in the mid 70's his life was transformed as he discovered his true life's passion for the martial arts. Master Wood attributes his success personally and professionally through the physical and mental development that Taekwondo gave to him. Today a successful business man and owner of award winning martial arts schools, Master Wood can verbalize the vision he saw that metamorphic day in his youth. "To Maximize Your Potential, Mentally and Physically. One Kick, one Punch, One Lesson at a Time" Grandmaster Wood, is a certified 7th degree black belt an international instructor with theWorld Taekwondo Federation, World Taekwondo Council ,and Kukkiwon. He is on the board of directors of the United State National Taekwondo Federation. Grandmaster Wood also is a 6th degree black belt in Gumdo and is the chairman of the World Koryo Gumdo Association. He and his wife Janice moved to Palatine where they have been operating their schools in since 1989. Janice is a 4th degree black belt and senior instructor at the school, this husband and wife team share and teach the martial arts to hundreds of students each year so they can discover their full potential. |
